Culture at Globus
According to Frances Frei and Anne Morriss at Harvard Business Review:
“Culture guides discretionary behavior and it picks up where the employee handbook leaves off. Culture tells us how to respond to an unprecedented service request. It tells us whether to risk telling our bosses about our new ideas, and whether to surface or hide problems. Employees make hundreds of decisions on their own every day, and culture is our guide. Culture tells us what to do when the CEO isn’t in the room, which is of course most of the time.”
Globus understands this and considers it is something that differentiates us from our competitors. In fact, it is our USP that has improved employee perform exponentially. Every employee wants to enjoy their work, feel motivated on a Monday morning and wants their contribution in the company appreciated. The leadership team at Globus encourages the team members to share feedback because the smallest of actions can have an effect on employees at all levels and the feedback received from any team member is not just filed but also acted upon. Effective communication with the employees regardless of whether it concerns them individually, gives them the opportunity to feel included because for an employee, there’s nothing worse than being kept in the dark. Every festival is enjoyed to the fullest and a celebration is held every time the goals are achieved or a new contract is won.
